DAY 2 TO 5:
Arrive in Johannesburg where you will be met by our representative who will assist you on arrival and transfer you to your flight to Phinda Game Reserve.
3 nights at the PHINDA VLEI LODGE in a double room on a full board basis including three meals daily, Teas and Coffees, two game drives daily in Open Landrovers, refreshments on game drives, Nature walks (1 hour) accompanied by experienced armed trackers, laundry, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers.

PHINDA VLEI LODGE LUXURY TENTED CAMP
Phinda Vlei's six suites, crafted from local materials of thatch, teak and glass, are suspended above the Sand Forest floor. The air-conditioned suites overlook a natural vlei system. The airy double bedrooms have en suite bathrooms with a bath and shower. You can enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner on your outdoor viewing deck or cool down in your private plunge pool. The suites feature ethnic fabrics, hand-crafted cane and timber-framed panels. The décor is a subtle blend of North and West African styles with hints of Balinese influences. The unique architectural design creates the illusion that no man-made structure exists between you and the African wilderness. The reception, lounge and bar areas of this secluded lodge overlook a tranquil vlei (wetland pan). The shaded terrace is a superb vantage point for bird-watching. The lounge has a fireplace, books and a well-stocked drinks cabinet. The guest dining area overlooks the expanse of grassy vlei. Delicious Pan-African cuisine is served in sumptuous surroundings. Dinners are served in a clearing in the bush

Phinda Private Game Reserve is situated in the lush KwaZulu-Natal region in northern South Africa. Sandwiched between Mkuze Game Reserve and the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park (a World Heritage Site), it comprises 14 000 hectares (34 000 acres) of prime conservation land. Seven distinct habitats shelter an abundance of wildlife including Africa’s Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo) and over 380 bird species, while the marine diversity off the nearby coast of Sodwana is said to rival the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.
Watch the drama of South Africa’s wilderness unfold while relaxing in your private plunge pool. Each suite decorated in a subtle blend of North and West African styles with hints of Balinese influences overlooks the grassy vlei, where you’re likely to see a dazzling variety of wildlife including herds of zebra and grazing antelope. The Phinda Game Reserve is home to an incredible diversity of mammals. Predators like cheetah, leopard and lion are tracked on a daily basis and visitors stand extremely good chances of seeing them. The territorial white rhino favour waterholes and wallows. Herds of elephant and buffalo move throughout the reserve and are easily spotted. Impressive nyala antelope feed alongside impala and warthog.
Phinda’s close proximity to the Indian Ocean offers guests the opportunity to explore an underwater kaleidoscope that rivals Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. Over 1000 species of fish are found in these subtropical waters and you may glide past moray eel, leatherback and loggerhead turtles and huge whale sharks.

SINGITA EBONY LODGE LUXURY SAFARI LODGE
Located in the 18 000 hectares Singita private concession in the the Sabi Sand Game Reserve on the Western border of the Kruger National Park, South Africa.
At Singita Ebony Lodge, you will encounter the quiet opulence of African colonial style at its most refined. From the cool and sumptuous folds of a leather sofa, you'll watch a giraffe browse on a distant acacia, or you yourself may browse from the extensive library in the quiet of the afternoon.
Set in the dappled shade of Ebony trees on the banks of the Sand River, the suites at Singita Ebony Lodge are completely private, cool and spacious, and each with its own plunge pool. Game Viewing Experience:
All our safaris are conducted in open Land Rovers with a maximum of 6 (six) guests per vehicle. Should you want complete privacy it is possible to hire a vehicle on a private basis. Sole use of Land Rovers will need to be reserved in advance. Prices available on request.

Singita Game Reserve offers diverse species of birds including Hooded Vulture, Secretary Bird, African Fish Eagle, Bateleur eagle, Brown Snake Eagle, Dark Chanting Goshawk and Giant Eagle Owl.
